Underfoot Feel

The Brooks Women's Adrenaline GTS 23 1D wide-fitting running shoe has been updated with DNA LOFT v2 cushioning. Even though this foam is as soft as the previous version, it's now lighter. The means you'll experience the amazing cushioning the Adrenaline running shoe is renowned for, but with less weight.

Upper Fit

The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 1D is wider-fitting than the standard model. If you find standard fitting shoes too narrow, you'll benefit from this more spacious design. In our experience, runners with bunions and Morton's neuroma are more likely to find wide-fitting running shoes more comfortable.

Ideal Run Type

We recommend opting for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 1D if you have broad feet and need a stability running shoe. That's because the wider-last feels more spacious, and should therefore feel more comfortable.

While it may not be helpful in all cases, wider-fitting running shoes may alleviate plantar fascia discomfort. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 wide may be more comfortable, than a standard fit, if you have plantar fasciitis.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
